IGN's Dan Adams talks about the various improvements and new ideas that made Civilization IV a great addition to the franchise. IGN rated the game 9.4 out of 10 and called it the "best version of Civilization yet."

ya i had that problem with my mac, thats just the default setting to increase efficiency go to your options and change it to show the animation.
