No. There is no exercise thats going to target a certain body part for fat. Abdominal exercises will help you get defined abs, but in order for people to see those abs you need to burn fat with HIIT (like jax8070 lists) or with compound, heavier weight moves such as squats, bench press, etc. The estimate is around 5000 sit ups to burn one lb of body fat, so if you're trying to get rid of that that midsection then doing crunches is not the way to go (unless you have A LOT of free time)

get on a tread mill, every 3 minutes adjust the speed from hi to low. that will get rid of your fat. do it for around 20 mins. do it like twice a wk.
