LOl, Jones was terrified. Maybe she thought Harding was gonna club her knees.

Those head guards are freakin ((MASSIVE)) - it's like watching two anime cartoon characters going at it. FFS!

Point is, it's a good line from the movie. As far as a gold medal "changing her life" that's sounds a bit naive, almost like saying money would make one happy. She was aware of her husband's involvement in the assault and she still didn't medal in '92. I can't hate her too much though, she looks like my girlfriend who's also a skater... Come to think of it, maybe that's why I hate her! : D

the jamican bobsled team? now thats not some people i would be quoting from. Maybe the jamican relay team in track. That gold medal would have changed her life. I dont know if she hit that girl in her knee or not. But she sure knew it was going to happen probably and she really didnt care. Either way, she wasted alot of talent. She did things even alot of girls to this day cant do. You either skater for power or finess. You can have both, and she had power.

Well, as that line about a gold medal from Cool Runnings went: "If you are not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it."

I'm glad you agree with me.
