Helicopter Accident
This is a Turbine Enstrom Helicopter on the Heli Pad of a Greenpeace ship some where off the coast of Ireland. One of the deck straps has not been released correctly, with what was very nearly disastrous consequence. Pilot skill and quick thinking saved the day.

*sigh* all you dumbasses fussing over this
did you know all the motor blades on helicopters is actually made out of tissues so at that speed it couldnt even hurt a fly!

Rear rotor got smashed so pilot couldn't correct the spin and could only try to slam it back down. Fair play, fantastic work by the pilot.
Still a bit surprised that Greenpeace would be running a helicopter. Not very eco friendly transport...

"One of the deck straps has not been released correctly, with what was very nearly disastrous consequence. Pilot skill and quick thinking saved the day." I would have said piolt idiocy and lack of skill caused it. He didn't even let the guy on the deck get out of the way.
