When the man got up he had a hand pushing against the other astronaut. (his left, meaning that it was blocked from view most for most of the clip) I get the same "wire glint" on my Kodak when I film. (Kodak is a few years or more behind in clarity of colors and glares I learned recently) The float jump was acheived by pushing off with his toes, pretty easy in 1/6 gravity given the minimal height he achieved.
